Philosophy of Education

Currently, one of the most popular studies of education is learning through emotions. Think back to when you were in elementary school, what do you remember and why? Most likely what you remember was not based on the information that you were taught but a moment/activity that occurred during the time of learning. Moreover, humans learn best when the information is attached to an activity that attracts their emotions to the information. Depending on the age will depend on the activity: with elementary age have an activity or game that makes them laughs and have fun with incorporating learning. This style of teaching can take more preparation time, however with more experience teachers will be able to make emotional learning activities on short notice. Knowing how humans learn is a good fixation to know: however to have proper learning you need to have proper learning experiences.

To have proper learning experiences you need to go through the four learning quadrants that assist the learning process. The first learning quadrant was the imaginative learner; they want to know why, why does this apply to my life. Making a learning experience with an imaginative learner is asking them to ponder the topic and think why they would need this particular information. The second learning quadrant was the analytical learner: this students learning experience is being told everything, they want to know everything on the particular topic. To create a proper learning experience the student should do research on a segment of the topic. The third learning quadrant is the common sense learner; these learners what to have a hands on experience with the topic, they need to learn how it works and how to fail. They are students that try repeatedly until they achieve their goal of completion or achievement. The final quadrant is the dynamic learner; their learning experience needs to be something they can make their own. They want to find something new about the topic, usual these learners think further out of the box. Achieving learning experiences means to need to find out what type of learner your students are to make a concrete experience for each student.

My philosophy of education is, the teacher needs to make and emotional learning experience for each student by researching their students and

coming to a conclusion of what type of learner they are currently. In my opinion if you make an emotional learning experience, your students will be

able to recall their information more easily.
